The Uzbekistan International Packaging and Printing Industry Exhibition was held in 1999 and is held annually in Tashkent. It is a very important professional exhibition in Central Asia and the only professional packaging and printing industry exhibition in Uzbekistan. It is one of a series of packaging and printing exhibitions hosted by ITE. The exhibition brought together industry experts from around the world. At the same time, the exhibition received strong support from the Uzbek government, providing exhibitors with a platform to directly target professional buyers in Uzbekistan, Russia and Central Asia. This year's show also set up an industry summit and invited important economic experts from Uzbekistan to do industry market analysis. This will not only help foreign products enter the Uzbekistan market, but also provide convenience for customers to understand the local market. The Uzbekistan Rubber and Plastics Exhibition held in the same period is also the largest and most professional rubber and plastics industry exhibition in Central Asia. In 2018, the exhibition area reached more than 14,000 square meters, attracting from Belgium, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Germany, Poland, Russia,
150 exhibitors from 18 countries in Belarus, Turkey, Ukraine, Austria, Slovakia and their countries participated. The number of visitors to the last session reached 6,300, including traders, wholesalers and buyers. Among them, about 54% of them are enterprise purchasing managers or company decision makers.
