Since the drum rotates continuously while the circular die-cutting machine is working, its production efficiency is the highest among all types of die-cutting machines. However, the die-cut version has to be curved into a curved surface, the plate making is troublesome, the cost is relatively high, and the technology has certain difficulty. Therefore, the circular die cutting machine is often used for mass production.
Die cutting method
The die cutting method of the circular die cutting machine is generally divided into two types: hard cutting method and soft cutting method. The hard cutting method refers to the hard contact between the knife and the surface of the pressure roller during die cutting, so that the die cutter is more likely to wear. The soft cutting method is to cover the surface of the pressure roller with a layer of engineering plastic. When die cutting, the cutting knife can have a certain amount of cutting, so as to protect the cutting knife and ensure complete cutting, but the plastic layer needs to be replaced regularly.
Way of working
The working part of both the platen and the press-cutting mechanism of the circular die-cutting machine is cylindrical. When working, the paper-feeding roller sends the paperboard between the platen roller and the pressure roller, and the two are clamped by the two. Die-cutting the drum and rotating the die-cutting cylinder for one week is a working cycle.

A two-color press is a press with only two colors.
The two colors can be either spot colors or colors in the four primary colors (C, M, Y, K). Two-color printing does not have to be printed by a two-color machine. It can be printed with a monochrome machine. Monochrome printing requires two printings. The background color needs to be printed by a four-color machine, and the printing is performed by a four-color machine, which is relatively high in cost, and is generally calculated according to the four-color printing cost.
